About the Role
Tezo is looking for a experienced Data Solution Architect with 10–12 years of expertise in designing, architecting, and delivering enterprise-grade data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modelling, data warehousing, and presales engagements, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, client engagement, and solution design capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end data solutions across enterprise environments.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business needs.
- Architect, implement, and optimize data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes for analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution consultants, and sales teams during presales discussions, including RFP/RFI responses, solution presentations, and client workshops.
- Provide architectural guidance on ETL/ELT design, data integration, and migration strategies.
- Ensure solutions adhere to data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend modern data technologies, platforms, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure architecture is implemented as designed and meets business requirements.
- Support performance optimization, scalability, and reliability of data solutions.
- Contribute to the development of reusable solution accelerators, frameworks, and best practices.
Mandatory Skills
- 10–12 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data solutions.
- Strong expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and data architecture frameworks.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering data warehouse solutions (e.g., Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse, BigQuery).
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, dbt, etc.).
- Strong understanding of SQL, database optimization, and query tuning.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and their native data services.
- Experience in presales engagements – solutioning, client workshops, RFP/RFI response, and technical presentations.
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and security best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to interact with both business and technical teams.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
- Experience in real-time data integration and streaming analytics.
- Exposure to machine learning and advanced analytics enablement.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure Data Engineer/Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Data Engineer).
