About the Role 

Tezo is looking for a dynamic and experienced Solutions Engineering Leader to head our pre-sales function and drive value-oriented conversations with prospects across our AI, Data, and Digital offerings. This role is pivotal in shaping Tezo’s market-facing narrative, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to translate customer needs into compelling solutions. 

You will directly report to the SVP of Revenue and play a critical role in winning new business, contributing to strategic pursuits, and elevating Tezo’s brand presence through thought leadership. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own Pre-Sales Function: Lead and manage all pre-sales activities across verticals and offerings—creating solution architectures, tailored demos, and business value propositions. 
  • Customer-Focused Solutioning: Collaborate with Sales and Delivery to understand customer problems and design solutions aligned to their business goals. 
  • Proposal Leadership: Lead RFP/RFI responses, client workshops, solution presentations, and build industry-relevant case studies. 
  • Storytelling: Craft persuasive customer narratives, pitch decks, and custom presentations that clearly convey Tezo’s differentiated value proposition. 
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to white papers, blogs, and industry publications to position Tezo as a trusted partner in AI, Data, and Digital Transformation. 
  • Sales Enablement: Coach Sales teams on solution positioning and market differentiators. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Delivery, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure alignment in GTM activities and customer engagements. 


Ideal Candidate Profile 

  • Experience: 15-20 years overall with significant exposure in pre-sales, solutioning, and delivery. 
  • Delivery Background: Hands-on delivery leadership experience is a strong advantage. 
  • North America Market Exposure: Proven track record working with NA clients across industries like Insurance, BFSI, Manufacturing, or Retail. 
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Ability to translate customer challenges into business and technical solutions. 
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Preference for candidates from smaller organizations/startups who are comfortable in high-ownership roles with minimal hand-holding. 
  • Storytelling Skills: Exceptional ability to build and deliver compelling narratives that resonate with executive stakeholders. 
  • Documentation Skills: Proficiency in crafting RFI/RFP responses, thought leadership content, and executive presentations.
